Black then white are all I see in my infancy
Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me
Lets me see
As below so above and beyond I imagine
Drawn beyond the lines of reason
Push the envelope
Watch it bend
Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition missing oppertunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines
Black then white are all I see in my infancy
Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me
Lets me see
There is so much more and beckons me
To look through to these infinite possibilities
As below so above and beyond I imagine
Drawn beyond the lines of reason
Push the envelope
Watch it bend
Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition leaving oppertunities behind
Feed my will to feel this moment, urging me to cross the line
Reaching out to embrace the random
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come
I embrace my desire to...
Feel the rhythm, to
Feel connected
Enough to step aside and
Weep like a widow, to
Feel inspired, to
Fathom power, to
Witness the beauty, to
Bathe in the fountain, to
Swing on the spiral, to
Swing on the spiral, to
Swing on the spiral of
Our divinity and
Still be a human
With my feet upon the ground I move myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in
I feel it move across my skin
I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me
Whatever will bewilder me
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going
Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me
Lets me see
As below so above and beyond I imagine
Drawn beyond the lines of reason
Push the envelope
Watch it bend
Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition missing oppertunities and I must
Feed my will to feel my moment drawing way outside the lines
Black then white are all I see in my infancy
Red and yellow then came to be, reaching out to me
Lets me see
There is so much more and beckons me
To look through to these infinite possibilities
As below so above and beyond I imagine
Drawn beyond the lines of reason
Push the envelope
Watch it bend
Over thinking, over analyzing seperates the body from the mind
Withering my intuition leaving oppertunities behind
Feed my will to feel this moment, urging me to cross the line
Reaching out to embrace the random
Reaching out to embrace whatever may come
I embrace my desire to...
Feel the rhythm, to
Feel connected
Enough to step aside and
Weep like a widow, to
Feel inspired, to
Fathom power, to
Witness the beauty, to
Bathe in the fountain, to
Swing on the spiral, to
Swing on the spiral, to
Swing on the spiral of
Our divinity and
Still be a human
With my feet upon the ground I move myself between the sounds and open wide to suck it in
I feel it move across my skin
I'm reaching up and reaching out, I'm reaching for the random or whatever will bewilder me
Whatever will bewilder me
And following our will and wind we may just go where no one's been
We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no one's been
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going
Spiral out, keep going

Some say the end is near
Some say we'll see armageddon soon
I certainly hope we will
I sure could use a vacation from this
Bull-**** three ring circus sideshow of
Freaks here in this hopeless ****ing hole we call LA
The only way to fix it is to flush it all away
Any ****ing time
Any ****ing day
Learn to swim, I'll see you down in Arizona Bay
Fret for your figure and
Fret for your latte and
Fret for your lawsuit and
Fret for your hairpiece and
Fret for your prozac and
Fret for your pilot and
Fret for your contract and
Fret for your car

Stupid ****, silly ****, stupid ****
One great big festering neon distraction
I've a suggestion to keep you all occupied
Learn to swim, learn to swim, learn to swim
Mom's gonna fix it all soon
Mom's comin' round to put it back the way it oughta be
Learn to swim, learn to swim... (in background throughout)

I wanna see it go right in and down
I wanna watch it go right in
Watch you flush it all away
Time to bring it down again
Don't just call me pessimist
Try and read between the lines
I can't imagine why you wouldn't
Welcome any change, my friend

I bought Electroplankton for $50 at my local EB Games today [EDIT: By 'today', I mean 'yesterday']. I heard Canadian EB's had the game, and was very happy to find my own had it as well. $50 is a bit steep, but it's $45 online Canadian anyway, so for five bucks more I get it at the time of purchase.
Let me tell you, it is awesome. Seriously, I'm in love with it.
Yep. That's about it. Electroplankton rules.

A Warm Feeling
by HexrapperII on Comments
Folks, I'm shooting to try and get a job. Finally.
What this means is I get to play more games. I've decided that I'd shift my focus onto the Nintendo DS. Why, you didn't ask but I shall answer anyway? Because I've become addicted to it. I play it more than my Xbox, my PS2 or my Gamecube. It's become my system of choice.
And so here, I have a list of everything I still don't own, and want to own. It's rather massive, and in no particular order.
Asphalt Urban GT
Ridge Racer DS
Rayman DS
Yoshi Touch & Go
Feel the Magic: XX/XY
Meteos
Kirby: Canvas Curse
Goldeneye: Rogue Agent
Advance Wars: Dual Strike
Warioware: Touched!
Lost in Blue
Trauma Center: Under the Knife
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney
Sonic Rush
Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
The Rub Rabbits!
Age of Empires: Age of Kings
Worms: Open Warfare
Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll
Tetris DS
Pac 'N Roll
And then, there's the games I'm curious about and may try, or may buy. I'm not sure yet.
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Pac Man World 3
And aside from those, nothing. I mean, I'm looking forward to Xenosaga I & II and other future titles, but this is concerning games that are out and that are close. Yep.
So, I'll cross the games off this list as I get 'em. I'll be getting another this coming week; either Electroplankton, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence or Age of Empires: Age of Kings. Actually, I may even wait a bit and get Super Monkey Ball: Touch & Roll on launch. I'll see. Now, for the heck of it, my current DS collection (for those too lazy to check, read: none of you, 'cause no one reads this. Hah!):
Animal Crossing: Wild World
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow
Electroplankton
Mario Kart DS
Snowboard Kids
Super Mario 64 DS
Tony Hawk's American Sk8land
And that Metroid Prime: Hunters demo. Yarr.

I Like Dirt
by HexrapperII on Comments
I purchased Tony Hawk's American Sk8land a couple days ago - hurrah! It's my favorite DS game right now. However, there is one rather unfortunate bit about it - the developers decided it would be clever to try and kill a great game by putting in a crap song! So I actually had to turn a song off in a Tony Hawk game for once, that song being 'I Like Dirt'. Ugh.
In other news, Christmas in six days for those celebrating it. School's off in three. I'm mostly gaming with my DS right now. Oddly enough, my DS has seen more game time than my PS2 or Gamecube recently.
I discovered that Roger's Video rents DS games, which means I can finally play all those games on DS that everyone calls crap! You know, King Kong, Shogun Empires, Burnout Legends... now I can see for myself just how bad a DS game can get! Hurrah! Oddly enough I'm actually looking forward to playing this crap >_>

Man bites dog

I've shot all footage for my film Ripe (with decay), which is based entirely on my interpretation of several songs on Nine Inch Nails' The Fragile CD. The film is basically about a kid whose walking his dog. He comes across a group of three who invite him into their fort in a forest. There they hold him back and threaten to kill his dog. One guy takes things a bit too far and the moment explodes into one giant 'oh, ****!' moment. I'm hoping it'll turn out ok, but when I capped it I forgot to filter the snow's reflecting of the light, which means everything's really freaking bright. But oh well.
I just recently rented Ratchet: Deadlocked and I love it. I hated all the other Ratchet & Clank games, but this one's good. This is one I could buy. My brother rented Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, but I haven't really given that game a shot yet. I'm also predicting it'll be crap, like most movie-games =/
As the holiday approaches (that would be Christmas for me) I'm not really getting that excited. However, I do believe I'll be recieving Animal Crossing: Wild World for Nintendo DS, which I am looking forward to. I'll see about getting online with that thing.
Other than that, things lookin' good. I don't have any dates for shooting for my school's feature film in December, so it's basically off 'till January. Hooray, I say.
