Some advice for idiots like me.

Do not wear any rings when you play guitar hero with the drums!

I got guitar hero metallica yesterday, with the drums (it's AWESOME) and i had one of my silver rings on. It's the kind that's like double the length of a normal ring so it's harder to get off. And so I was playing the drums on expert (for whom the bell tolls is easy to play even on expert) i kept playing that song over and over (because i want to learn it in real life). After a while I noticed my fingers were getting sore and swollen. So I stopped playing, and I went to take my ring off and it would not come off! My finger had swollen so much that it started to turn red and throb in pain a little. The thing is, it was late and I had to go to bed because I worked at dawn. I couldn't get it off all night and ended up only getting 2 hours of sleep. I had to go through a work day with it throbbing in pain, and me looking like an idiot with a big red finger.

After work I had to take a long ass nap, and when I woke up it hurt even more and I said screw it, I went through the toolbox and got some wirecutters and cut the damn thing off (the ring, not my finger!....ouch lol). It took a good half hour to do that but afterwards it felt so damn good. I had almost fainted from the whole thing (yeah yeah yeah) but I'm so glad I got it off.

Now back to the drums.

*puts another ring on*

DOH! :P

Colony Wars needs a new iteration damnit!

SCE Studio Liverpool used to be known as Psygnosis , who were owned by Sony and developed games only for the PSX while they still published other developers games for other platforms, until they were incorporated into SCE as an exclusive developer in 1999. During the PSX era Psygnosis was known for their amazing franchises: Colony Wars and Wipeout, and each iteration was great. Wipeout is a futuristic racing series with combat elements, and Colony Wars is a space epic and they were very fresh, original game series on the PSX.

When the PS2 era started Sony decided to end all the fun and put them to work making their licensed Formula 1 games... That's all they did in the PS2 era, save one wipeout game for PS2. They did also do two wipeout games for PSP which were both awesome.

Anyway SCE Studio Liverpool is now working on putting the finishing touches on Wipeout HD for PS3, but here's the good news: Sony no longer has the rights to the Formula 1 license! WTH are they going to do next? Another Wipeout? A new IP? Or will Sony bring back the beloved Colony Wars franchise to the PS3?

Hey I can dream right? ;)
