Well most of them have legendaries which are usually considered uber in wifi play , and no they wouldn't coz most of the teams are 6 sweepers.

I know about EV's... just learned it today and now I'm hearing it from you... hehe.

It's kinda confusing... is it like selecting what stats you want to be good for your type of pokemon.

Yep it sure is and it's vital to competitive battling, basically every Pokemon gives a certain ev once you defeat them in a battle. Ev's raise certain stats to higher levels than they would if you dont ev train.

scroll down to the botom of that and you should see something that says

If you want to see which ev pokemon hold or something and then it has little buttons which say ATK DEF SPEED and so and forth, if you click attack it shows you a list of pokemon which give off attack ev's same with all the others , hope i helped you dude.
