Just got back from watching this at the movies and I can honestly say that you, Jordan, is full of crap. This movie was a riot and I was left laughing from beginning to end. Just because the movie didn't fit your motive with your SJW agenda didn't warrant the movie getting the score you've given it.
Maybe you should stay away from reviewing anime as this type of stuff is NOT for you and we don't want your political BS ruining our entertainment because of it.
All I can say to everyone who hasn't watched it, GO WATCH IT AND ENJOY IT! YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!!!
@chiefwiggum16: Well....depends on how you look at it. It's still a console exclusive so in a sense, it's not a lost exclusive. The same can be said about Cuphead, All of Idea Factory's games (Neptunia, Omega Quartet), Street Fighter V, God Eater, & many others. They all are still exclusive to their consoles of release and no other but are released on PC as an alternative since PC really doesn't have any dominant affiliation with any of the big console companies (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo)......if this makes any sense to ya.
In all honesty, this game feels lazy in comparison to Gundam Extreme Versus: Full Boost (Omega Boost). A lot of the mobile suits that was in Omega Boost are missing.....this is very evident when you realize that G Gundam is not represented in this game (sorry, no God Gundam, Dragon Gundam, Gundam Speigel, Nobel Gundam, etc.), Endless Waltz (there goes my Wing Zero Gundam -EW ver-), & a ton of others.
Gundam Versus strips a not only mobile suits but also offline content. Gone is the local multiplayer modes as the game is turned purely into a online versus game. All single player content has been reduced to modes making you play against waves of random or pre-determined AI opponents (as explained in the review) in a means to get you to level up mastery with that mobile suit.
This was a huge disservice for those of us who bought this game with the intent to play the game offline with friends. Bandai Namco really dropped the ball on this one if you compare it to Extreme Versus but if this is your first time entry to the Versus series, it's pretty much a good game.
@ziproy What you find terrible others will probably find something enjoyable to it. Honestly, playing EDF on my Vita was one of the most time consuming laughable fun times I've had with the series.....especially being my first EDF game.
I'm actually looking forward to this for the pure humor of the game. Besides, the only thing this video is comparing with your "oh-so" beloved serious FPS games and such is the humor factor and the fact that the game isn't trying to take itself serious and it pays off from it (even if it doesn't seem so to you).
At any rate, let people find their own joys in games like EDF and such rather than trying to what you're doing and push them away from it.
@Bhemont The thing is, those people whom played US version of Persona 4 but didn't complain about the voice acting in that but complain about the voice acting in this game should heed that they are the same voice actors. Voices will sound differently after 4 - 5 years to return and the their roles yet again (everyone except Yu).
At any rate, it's not all that bad but I after watching the anime series, I'm rather used to hearing their Japanese voices instead.
