Thing is, if the PS4 IS able to play preowned games then you wont only see consumers boycotting the Nextbox, you will also see developers doing the same. While that may sound silly, in this day in age, devs still make money on second hand games. With DLC, and online passes, which trust me, arent going away anytime soon. I own both PS3 and 360, all my online games are bought brand new, but singleplayer games I usually get on ebay. I totally understand the online passes though, I think they are a good idea, one if the few i suppose.
