I thought it was enjoyable enough, though online play would've been sick.

I'm looking for a seriously hardcore gaming headset and, as mentioned in the topic, money is not an issue. Currently, I have the Razer Barracuda HP-1 headset, which I have to say, sucks. It's completely uncomfortable, for me, and I have to tape the detachable mic up so that it touches the connectors. Anyways, I'm looking for suggestions on headsets. Looking, preferably, for DJ-style headset, like one that cups the ear. It has to be comfortable for wearing up to 8+ hours straight and the mic has to be good, as in I don't need to yell or, in my case, tape it up. It must be Surround Sound, 5.1 or greater. I want something exceptionally reliable. I know I'm probably asking for God's headset, but if anyone knows about something this good or close to it, let me know.
