Hopefully I don't sound too dated when I say I own a Sony Bravia 46" released in 2009. After seeing the live stream, I can't help but be paranoid that the PS4 will look just like how my PS3 looked when I had a tube tv that projected 480p. I love my current Sony tv and is practically brand new, do you guys feel I'll need an upgrade? What are you guys doing?

..or more. What you guys think of the Future. Of this war machine hosting the following years to come. Personally, I was more excited about the hype than how I felt after the conference.
Those who paid $600 for the PS3 on during it's launch, like myself, actually feel a relief Sony is releasing it $100 less. Not worried one bit.
I have a huge backlog on the GOW series, I just might play it safe with Infinite. 2k please deliver a masterpiece.
I agree with the guys over at IGN, I highly doubt they'll show gameplay of any titles, if so it'll be a tease reel of some sort. As someone mentioned earlier, the line up will determine day 1 purchase. I can almost agree if we see any gameplay of Killzone 4 or anything in that nature, we'll be day 1 adopters
Don't let my title mislead you, I didn't go around taking surveys around the world ha! 10 of my friends which all camped out for PS3's during it's launch have all agreed to not do it again. Aside the sleepless nights and camper craziness, they feel they will wait atleast 1 year until purchasing. I've never purchased anything on release day, but will be doing so for the PS4. I find the psych behind all this pretty weird and strange. Any of you guys purchase the PS3 day one and will be doing the same for the PS4?
If the projected $400 US price point is correct, I believe an expensive one along the lines of $500-$550 will indeed exist as well.
A situation where someone may feel "prescrewed" would be in the sence of them having the money to pre-order it today let's say to expect to play it in a month or so, mean while, they later say that the release is being delayed, (GTA V). Now, you are s.o.l because you just spent $60 on a pre order you planed to play sooner than the delay, and can't utilize those $60 spent! Hey, times are rough for some people, this person could of needed that money for anything, maybe an emergency comes up. Personally, I stay away from pre-orders, as someone stated above, it's only a way to guarentee store's sales numbers.
