Sprinting in Halo: Reach is an armor ability. There are a bunch of others in the game such as armor lock, invisibility and jet packs. Players can only have one armor ability. Each armor ability is balanced and have recharge times so say if you have invisibility you can't just turn it on when ever you want and stay that way all match long. Once you turn it on you can only use it for a short time and wait for it to recharge.

I don't think it'll make Halo arcadey. I think it'll add a new layer of strategy and team work to the game.

Agreed. And it's not like Spartans never ran, they always did, we just never had to perform it by the press of a button manually like MW. It will add strategy being that not everyone can run around loosely. My point really is, I really don't want the Halo series to have those "RUNNERS" that run at 90mph to stab you like in MW:2. That's the only thought that scares me about bringing that feature into Reach.

After watching the GTTV special on Halo:Reach, I noticed the Spartan sprinting towards the end of the show, sort of like Modern Warfare. My question is, being a Halo fanatic as I am, do you feel it'll hurt the game or will it adjust its skill level? In other words, will the sprinting make it too "arcady", which is what the Call of Duty series is being projected as.

Personally I hated the fact that there was a huge crash and I wasn't able to connect to a game for about 10 minutes sometimes longer. It seems to be running smoother now so I don't regret it, going forward though I might be a little hesitant.

I was wondering how soon these maps will come out so that I can go grab some points over at Gamestop. If they come out tonight at 12 or even 3am I'll grab the points now. Does anyone know?

I should have mentioned this years ago when I first played Halo 3, but what is the point of that first skull at the very very beginning of the game. After you get introduced to light combat and you continue on to where a phantom drops several enemies towards this pool of water. After you kill that wave, go towards the right where you can basically fall off to the river, there is a skull there and it does completely nothing. I pick it up and does nothing? Anyone?

Meh...Well, at least Zombie mode is coming back. And what do they mean by "It can't be done in Modern Warfare: 2" Like honestly why? I'll rather pay $15 for a Zombie mode than this stimulus package. Personally.

I'll purchase it today then, I appreciate the thoughts. Look forward to doing some Horde being that I have beat the campaign numerous times. I really hope they patched the MP though because about a year ago, it was just unplayable, hence the long time it took to search for a game.
