Is it too late to grab a copy of this game? I'm sold in the fact that it includes the extra maps, but are people still online like before? Also, it's $30, is that even worth it? I'm aware that GeOW3 wouldn't touch the shelves no later than Q4 of 2011, which is why I want to pick up a copy, just don't know which one.

I just called and they said it's $34.99 used and $39.99 new. The website also says "not available online". I feel it's a typo.

You DO need the GTA 4 disk if you have downloaded through PSN as a DLC. If you have the physical copy of Episodes, you do NOT need the GTA 4 disk.

Being extremly happy my tax return came earlier than expected I purchased GOW 3 about 2 days ago and today felt like I needed a new experience, so I picked up BioShock 2. I know "this should be blogged", but I would really like your intake on the multiplayer. The game has been out for some time now, and I havn't read anyone ranting on how awsome the multiplayer is. Is the online dead already? Is it a title prefered on the 360, so hardly any matches on PS3? If you play online, state your tag and we'll game!

The best info on the plot can be found on wikipedia if you want to do a little reading.

*SPOILERS*

GoW1 = Kratos kills Ares (the god of war) for forcing him to do his bidding for years and tricking him into killing his wife and daughter.

GoW2 = Zeus kills Kratos (temporarily of course) for wrecking hell on Greece and for him killing Ares. Kratos goes on a mission to get revenge on Zues (and later all of olympus). Kratos fails to kill Zeus and instead kills his guide/mentor Athena instead by accident. GoW3 just contues the story of the GoW2 "quest for revenge".

That sounds about the most accurate. I've heard something like that, I did not know he killed Athena though. I see the twist with dishonesty between Kratos and his Father. Ok, Wellp... ring me up and get me home!

Own a 120gb Slim, and YES it does get quite annoying after a while. I've heard many post this same issue, but everyone seems to say it's normal. Don't sweat it.

Let's put it this way, there's more of a chance of you receiving your same consule fixed as opposed to a refurb than there is you getting a jasper model. Atleast that's how it was with me.
