I normally aim at getting games that have multiplayer so that after I beat the game twice (Hard and the unlockable Harder mode. For example Uncharted=Crushing) I never touch the single player again and only focus on multiplayer. I try my hardest to get each and every trophy with in that time frame, but if I can't get them all, consider those trophies lost.

I definately do, but hate it when I'm playing games like Battlefield:BC2 and no one has one. Same goes for Uncharted 2 multiplayer, no one ever has a mic.
Call me crazy, but I was never too impressed with the Street Fighter movie, I feel they could of done better. Same goes with Mortal Kombat. Maybe I'm just a hard critic.
no a game that innovtates NOTHING cannot be the best ever. Games like that are EPIC, Stunning, etc but are not on the top of the list. THey literly took bits and pieces from other games and combined it and while it creates a very good ( very short also) experience its not revolutionary or something fresh which makes it revolutionary ( like TF2)johnsonmrom
I Agree with that also. Being that it takes from many sources, makes it sort of "not original" and not fresh and new. That's very true.
But still, the game deserves its credit.
In-game screenshots are normally polished, so take the into concideration when comparing. MGS's blur effect can be overwhelming at times where it makes certain images appear choppy and "bad pair of scissor"-like.
Tetris is the best game ever made. Those bricks do things that leave uncharted with a need for therapeutic care...alextherussian
LMAO! XD And it begins.
Uncharted 2 has to be... by a LONG shot, the best game ever made. It contains similar content that most games have but done better. For instance, the cover system which we all know seems similar to that of Gears of War, is in Uncharted but the fact that you can make any match vertical, allows you to be more strategic than just running around chainsawing people at unexpected moments. When talking guns, we can say Modern Warfare 2, "3rd person". Aiming is much more smoother in Uncharted with similar guns (M4, Rocket Launcher, FAL etc) and as stated earlier, the ability to climb walls really extends the act of skill play. The rag doll effect as known well in GTA 4 is also in Uncharted with an unmatched setting. Then ofcourse there's the online multiplayer which to me is a souped up version of Metal Gear Online. It's like saying if MGO was done correctly with dedicated servers, it'll be Uncharted 2.
Now, don't quote on what I just said, but I just feel this one game has touched places other games have gone, but had did it better. Naughty Dog you're Genius.
EDIT: Ok not best game ever made (that ofcourse was my opinion of the thread) more like the best game to have done or emulated other games like Gears of War, COD:MW2, MGO etc as being 1 game. That's all I was stating.
