I'm sorry but you are completely skipping some topics that may be of interest while going in depth about others that are just standard features in games these days.

Hah and most people gave me crap when i claimed to have higher preformance in Vista compared to old XP. I see about the same preformance in Windows 7 RC that i've been using but besides just the technical improvements over Vista there are so many small things i instantly miss when on a non-w7 computer.
