I am experiencing the same problem.

I played FF7 because I wanted to see what all the hype was about, so I finally found the game and started playing it. I honestly can't say there was anything I really disliked about the game, I pretty much enjoyed it all.

I agree. I love FFVII because there was really no part of it that I disliked. Every aspect of the game, from the graphics to the story to the charaacters to the battle system to the music, just meshed together almost perfectly. It is an incredibly fun and entertaining experience. It isn't my favorite game of all time, but it is definitely up there.
I will join many others here and recommend these:
The Shadow Hearts series
Suikoden III & V
Xenosaga II & III
Dragon Quest VIII
Loss of Me/Rose of May - Final Fantasy IX
To Zanarkand - Final Fantasy X
World 1-1 - Super Mario Bros.
Final Fantasy XIII, but only because I now know when I can get it. Otherwise it would still be Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
[QUOTE="fffan9391"][QUOTE="HollywoodRPG"]FFIX - Quina...just a silly character that I really never took the time to use.DrAwesomeMD
I love Quina personally. He/She is one of my most used characters.Â
Limit Glove FTW!
Haha I love Quina too...just not in battle. He/she can get serious at important times in the story and some of the stuff he/she says is just great. Liked Quina a lot better than Amarant...he was just dumb.
Final Fantasy IX is my favorite game ever so I'm gonna have to say it is also the best turn based PSX RPG :P
It depends on what you are looking for. FFIX is the best Final Fantasy game in my opinion, while Chrono Cross is just an overall fantastic game. FFIX is much more traditional while Chrono Cross is different from almost all other RPGs out there with its unique battle and magic systems and its insane amount of recruit-able characters. FFIX is my favorite game of all time, but Chrono Cross is good for a change of pace. Chrono Cross also gets slightly better if you played Chrono Trigger (it's not a huge difference).
