Yeah, I was thinking of getting one of those Blu-Ray lens cleaners, this one in particular: http://www.amazon.com/Maxell-BR-GAME-Blu-ray-Game-Cleaner/dp/B0029HLO4S/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top Anyone ever have any luck with these?

[QUOTE="Hoogs88"]I think people take this all way too seriously. Why does it need to be a competition? Why the need to define which console is the most "hardcore" or "casual"? They all have great games, and I hope they all have great futures.Warpainting
Well, you must care somewhat about gaming or you wouldn't be on the forums, no?

Most of my posts are from a few years ago when I did take it all more seriously than I should have. Now, after coming back to these forums to ask a question about the recent firmware update, I realize how petty a lot of the arguments on here are. I'm not saying that you or all people here are "petty" or anything, it's just something I noticed in a lot of threads more than I would've a few (well, more than a few) years ago. But then again, this is a gaming forum, so I'm probably being stupid.

Does anyone know of a PS3 message board that would be more appropriate for getting advice on something like this?

I was surprised by how much I liked the first one, since I usually don't like games that consist of being "enclosed" in a specific place, which leads to repetitive environments (in this case, the whole game took place on one ship). I did play some of the DS2 demo, and the over-the-shoulder camera orientation felt awkward. It felt like it was hard to walk straight. It's been awhile since I played the first game, so maybe that was the case in that game too and it just took some getting used to.

Some of my games and almost all Blu-Ray movies will not play. One game (Mini Ninjas) worked a few days ago and now doesn't, so it seems to be getting worse. The PS3 makes a mechanical noise as if ejecting the disc, then doesn't read it. Regular DVDs work. This all started happening after I installed the 3.55 firmware update, and it has gotten steadily worse since. Is anyone else having this problem? How often do they release system updates (I'm hoping the next one fixes it)? I just hope it isn't a hardware failure that just happened to coincidentally occur after the update. By the way, I have the newer 120GB PS3, purchased in October of 2009. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, mine seems to freeze after about an hour or two of use. It stinks, because last night it happened right when I was about to assassinate the 6th scholar, causing me to have to restart from the beginning.

Ok, now I feel dumb that I let two typos slip past me, but you know what I meant :P.

Why is everyone so excited about SSBB? I played the version for Gamecube once and it really wasn't all that fun. Maybe I just needed to get into it more.

A few questions (not that it really matters since it's such a good deal, just curious): 1. Is the Wiimote/nunchuck a second pair, or is it the ones that came with the Wii originally? 2. Which games are on there? 3. Does your friend have a 360 that he can sell me? :P (J/K) 1. It's just the one pair, although I thought the Wii just came with a remote. 2. Zelda OoT, Mario 64, Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Street Fighter, and a couple classic Mario games. 3. No, although he does have a 360 and I wouldn't be surprised if he sold it. He's the kind of person that will buy stuff, keep it for a few weeks, then sell it to buy other stuff, kind of a "disposable" lifestyle. I'll let you know if he ever wants to sell it :P.
