A little information about me. I started playing nintendo before i could even walk, i beat Super Mario Bros before i was more than a few years old. By the time i had reached 6 years old i had played and beat Mario Bros 1,2 and 3 along with others including Simon's quest, which was my fav game at the time. I was also very into Dr.Mario and Tetris. I come from a time where Nintendo ruled the planet in gaming. Those were the good ol' days were games like final fantisy and dragon quest were brand new and it seemed like things could only get better, before the microsofts and sonys had devloped systems. I have always been a true gamer at heart and i will always be one.

Wii: The Name
by Hoppe_c80 on Comments
We all have heard the "wii" jokes and we all have heard the complaining and grieving about the name change; right? Here is what I have to say about it. The name has changed and it is going to be Nintendo Wii forever, get over it, you either like it or hate it. I personally love it, its innovative and unique, such as is Nintendo. I wouldn’t want it any other way. I am not saying, however, that I didn’t like the name Revolution nor that I do or don’t like it better then Wii, they are both great names in their own way. I see where Nintendo is going with the new name and I agree 100% with their focus. I was just as shocked as the rest of you, well not Matt Casamassina and the "one" other person on this planet who actually liked the name at the beginning, but I quickly got over it as soon as I heard why the name had been changed. Like it or love it; hate it or loath it, the name is here to stay so you ought to jump on the bandwagon and start having some fun already!! The name shouldn't be the most important thing about the system, it should be the games and how they are played and what the experience is like. Everyone is so caught up in the name that they can't see the big picture. Step outside the box and there lies what could be the greatest gaming system ever.
