ShiftFallOut, good post. The 360 was a loss leader out of the gate but is said to now generates revenue for MS. Most are Live enabled ($) and we know the issues facing modded consoles with the new dashboard. The percent of ripped games on consoles are far less than the PC scene. I don't agree that console games cost more because the hardware is sold at a loss. I really do hope you are right that developers will continue to support PC's. As a PC enthusiastis, our hobby needs them.
OK, we all know. Problem is, in a few more years we won't have new "PC" games to run on our 4870x2's n 280's. With all the cracked ISO's, profits for PC games will leave us with blank hard drives. No doubt the future is consoles. :(
