Hi,

More than 10 years ago I had a demo version of a spaceship shooter game including only one level (Windows).

I think the background wasn't a picture of stars, it was inside some sci-fi tunnels (maybe only that level was like this).

Our spaceship moved from left to right.

I think by pressing shift key, lots of other spaceships (friends) could come in and shoot for a few seconds and then move back. It could be used maybe once each time you start the level.

I don't want to tell any wrong info but there is something that may help ,it can be completely wrong :

I think the name of the game had something like "solar" in it. (again, this one can be wrong)

This system needs minimum of 600 Watt.

Thermaltake 600W is good.

And as that PSU(the one you said)is 630 W then it's good.

Ok by the sounds of what you guys are saying i think i am gonna go ahead and do a rebuild. What would i need to do this. I already have a case, Monitor ,and an os. I want to keep it arounf 500-700 $pokemondude2012

Your current PC is old.

You can't buy a very good PC with this budget but you can still buy a good one.

And remember to check your case cooling system,

If it's not cool enough you need to change it.

With this budget and selling your current PC you can buy kind of this PC.

**Important:I used high prices and if the tax is not a lot in your country you can buy a better one.

VGA:GTX 430

CPU:2.66 Core 2 Quad

Ram:4GB ddr 3 Dual channel(2x2GB)

PSU:450 Watt

DVD-RW:Pioneer

HDD:500GB Sata III Caviar Black

MB:It's better to find a good one which can support newer technologies for upgrading in the future.

Remember the usable power is not 100% for a psu and the maximum is at 80% so you need 20% more power than what is really needed.

And remember the efficiency of a PSU will go down about 10% each year.

So if you need this for 4 years you need that 20% from the first line and 40%(10% x 4 years).

The outcome is you need 60% more power for 4 years.

Then you have to think about GTX 570 or even GTX 560 Ti.

But if the case is not too much necessary then don't buy it and go for higher VGA.

It's your choice and I just wanted to help.

First:OC means overclocked as you said and this means upgrading the VGA using softwares mostly(yes there is a manual OC).

About the GTX 560 Ti I have to say it's really good about it's price and you can play most games at mid-high quality with it but if you buy a GTX 570 then you can play the games at high quality(Still not maximum or ultra high quality).

If I was you I would wait to get the enogh budget for GTX 570.

Your CPU is enough for about 1 or 2 years if you buy a better VGA like GTX 580 or even 570 and your ram is enough too and you can save some money if you just sell your current VGA and buy a GTX 580.

But if you want to play every game with no lag you need more memory,For example if you wanna play Crysis 2 DX11 with High res textures you need GTX 580 and 8 GB of ram but if you can still play at high quality(not ultra high) so your right CPU and ram is enough for now.

Lets buy a GTX 580 or even Super clocked one.

If I was you then I would buy standard GTX 580.

The dust is the worst thing for heatsinks.

There are some stuffs like hairdryer but so much stronger.

If any of your friend has one of them you can debt it for 15 minutes and use it.

And next time be sure your case has dust filters.
