but what about the person who is getting my emails will he/she be able to harm me in anyway because of my info. i dont have any credit card numbers on there but cant they just cancel my account at anytime, cancelling every achievement and every saved game i have on there?
i just signed up for xbox live but i put the wrong email address. it still works but i want to know if it will become a problem in the future and if im missing out on anything.

I love achievements, its just all about how you approach them. I play through a game once just to have fum and beat it picking up achievements you get naturally. After that, I'll just go back a pick others for fun. Simple as that. I find it fun racking up achievements. It shouldn't be something people complain about, there optional. Microsoft doesn't go to Gamestop with you and tell what game to get, so don't feel like they tell you what achievement to get.
When game first went up to 60 bucks everyone freaked, but with achievements you get money's worth. One game can last you a lot longer now just because of achievements. When your money gets tight and you can't get R6V2 (me) just go back and get some achievements to hold you off. I don't try to get 1000 on each game, I just get the ones that I feel count. Its just for fun.
