oooh yeah. I started with the second one, got terribly addicted, so hunted around for a long time for the first, and then played the sh** out of both of them haha. Beat each multiple times. Probably 2 of the best games i have had experience with. While i personally got kind of annoyed by the turn-based action, the content and dialogue and little humorous goodies were more than enough to make up for it 100x over
no way? IM tempted to buy it for you haha. Nobody should miss out on this!!!! But if you have the patience then more power to you lol. I, for one, suck at patience. So tonight it is :)
yeah this game will not really require any previous knowledge, but there will most likely be a lot of references to things from the other games (if fallout 2 was any indication), though they are from different companies. However, i would recommend playing through the first two, just because it will get you RIDICULOUSLY pumped to play this one, haha. And they are both AMAZING games.
Oh hell yes. I just went over to my local gamecrazy and was asking the guy whether or not he was going to have a midnight open... he said no. So, in a fit of disappointment, i went over and proceeded to play a demo of Guitar Hero: World Tour for about 6 songs. During this time, the store phone rings and the man who had broken my heart a few minutes earlier becomes engaged in a business conversation lasting until i am sick of guitar hero. As im about to leave, he turns to me to notify me that the regional manager had just called and alerted him that tonight at midnight he is to open the store for the release of Fallout 3.
Does anybody have any idea how the "random encounters" part of Fallout 3 will work?? In the past it has been when travelling... so will it they occur when using the oblivion-esque "quick travel" feature??
I really really hope it is still incorporated. That was one of my favorite parts about the originals.
