[QUOTE="Howdy_Duty"]my Wii purchase still isn't justified and 2008's lineup looks abysmal at best.deadmeat59you do know there is 121 you fail
close enough. I see no reason to cry.

Where would Wii fanboys be without hiding behind 360?
[QUOTE="Howdy_Duty"][QUOTE="jg4xchamp"][QUOTE="Howdy_Duty"][QUOTE="laughingman42"][QUOTE="Howdy_Duty"][QUOTE="laughingman42"]and exactly what would the 360 or PS3 have doneto make thisgame so much better than it is on the wii?

You would have to ask Miyamoto. He's the one that decided to gimp the Mario franchise.
so you cant come up with anything?
I'm willing to sacrifice motion sensoring and last-gen hardware for next-gen hardware
which would have only gotten you better visuals. so what did you gain 720p mario- 1080p if its Sony.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cause that totally changes the game and makes it that much better. get real Galaxy is amazing and doesnt need the HD graphics to get the scores it deserves.
So Mario is a great platformer? That was expected. But does that mean Wii can compete with next-gen? No. Sorry, Wii still can't play with the big boys.
It's beating the big boys you mindless console goon.
in sales? Duh. Maybe Sony and MS should've recycled last-gen hardware. That sounds ideal for gaming.

OK
We Rate Games According to the Current Standards of Their Platforms and Genres
Every gaming platform is different, especially in terms of its technical features.
I guess you missed that bit? exactly the only area wii games have been lacking against the 360 and PS3 is graphics. Galaxy versus the single player experiences on the PS3 and 360 is only inferior in graphics. in terms of gameplay and you know the more important matters like value etc Wii isnt so far behind that the ratings are completely inflated as you make them out to be.
With online like Wii, there's almost no value to speak of. And this may sound shocking to you, but better hardware does enable better gameplay to an extent.
Online don't equal value.
I disagree :)
