Here's the deal. Whether you're cool or nerdy or skinny or fat, someone is always going to talk about you. People who made fun of people in high school don't just quit when they get to college... and they won't just quit when they graduate college either. You've just got to learn to deal with it or ignore it. I don't want to sound harsh, but if three people making fun of you bothers you that much... it's more of a you issue than a them issue.

The only reason I even pondered this question is because I'm still horrified by the Who's halftime performance at the superbowl. Still... I love PJ, but The Who is my choice.

I used to spend more time gun hunting (deer). Now, I just do that one weekend a year. It's a great way for my father and I to spend time together.

Now, from a purely hunting perspective I enjoy bowhunting. It's much more challenging to get close to the animals. I've been pretty successful over the years so I don't feel like I have to shoot something. I usually just enjoy the time alone in nature. I take a lot of pictures and videos. When I do kill a deer, I try to kill one that I consider a trophy. That doesn't just mean it has a trophy rack. It usually has a special meaning to me. I always eat the animals that I harvest.

Some people may not understand it, but I try to show respect for the animals that I hunt. For example, I hunted one specific buck for about 4 years. He would have been a magnificent trophy but I could never close the deal. On the fifth year, he finally came within bow range. The previous years had not been kind to him. He was obviously in decline, his rack was smaller and he had some wounds from fighting other bucks. It would have been a chip shot to shoot him just to "win" our battle. However, I decided to take a few pictures of him as he walked away. I thought it would be respectful to let him pass on his own terms. He lived for two more years, and I always gave him a pass.

Wow... pretty rough e3 opening for all. I didn't think Microsofts's conference was as bad as people make it out to be... it wasn't great either. Some good stuff in there, just way too much kinect. Sony was marginally better, nothing overly exciting. Too much move. The PSVita price was a nice announcement but I'm not buying either handheld so...

It felt like Nintendo, casual gamers, and internet journalism hunted down and killed the E3 that I used to love. Crap games for gimmicky add ons, games that are re-skinned, re-hashes of old shooters passed off as new IP's(no im not referring to the halo ce remake, I think it will be fun), and all of the big announcements leaked in the days leading up to the conference. The ultimate swerve would be if Nintendo released the wii and then let everyone dedicate themselves to copycat add ons and games, only to drop the hammer on the industry with a hardcore console.

BF3 did look good though...

The death threats are ignorant... so is the kid who can't just pipe down and let people pray if they want to. Nobody was going to force him to say the prayer. Why couldn't he just have his own quiet moment of reflection during the prayer?

It's Nintendo... they always have to pick something to gimp the console. This time I'm going to say it will have a blu ray drive... but won't play blu ray movies.

Wow... lot of hate in this thread.

Like him or not, lebron is good. Really good. As good as jordan? Not even in the ballpark yet, let's give it some time.

As far as this series, I really didn't like either team. I ended up just kind of pissed by the heat's constant flopping and flailing every time that someone came near them. This series was an example of how broken the officiating is across the NBA. Travelling, sometimes three steps sometimes five sometimes just a little shuffle of the feet. Charges- who knows you can be set for 5 seconds and if the guy doesn't hit you square its a blocking foul. On the other hand, you can slide under a player in the air and maybe get the call. There's no reason that the NBA's conference finals (east and west) should have less consistent officiating than a regular season division 2 ncaa game.

Since Fred Phelps (the leader of the church) looks to be circling the drain himself, I say we just wait it out... Then about a million people show up to protest at his funeral.
