That aside, the sony presentation was very well done. Watching it sent chills searing down my neck. This year is going to be a great one for the PS3. I've not bought one yet because of skepticism, and the price tag, but this made the decision for me.

"Shadow of the Colossus 2" should (and it better) be PS3 exclusive. However, it shouldn't be an "SotC, just prettier", it needs to explain the history of the ancient land and the colossi that inhabit it. What caused it to fall into ruin, was there a war? The key point there is war. Perhaps the ancient land was once a bustling paradise. The colossi were the "tanks" of the military (archers and cavalry perched on the colossus' armor. The scene of an epic battle with at least a hundred colossi scattered across the plain would be breathtaking.

Of course, with this, team ICO should do their best to remain close to SotC's roots (visual style, atmosphere, distictive cinematography, unique land and language).
