Well, they didn't copy off of anyone since they are the same team that worked on Diablo 2. As such, they do have the right to take whatever they need from that game to assist them in their new one. For example, Mother 1 is like Mother 2. They both have a bunch of kids go and find instruments to defeat the final boss. Although Torchlight and Diablo aren't the same story, it's the same team.

With that said, almost all games of that genre feature a mountain area, a forest and a desert. Those are the forest-fire-water equivelant. :P

I'm glad they are doing the acts thing, though. Going down for 50 floors just to be rewarded with an endless amount of floors wasn't really fun. I prefer vast worlds that give you a chance to explore. Looking forward to Diablo 3 and Torchlight 2.

EDIT: Plus people liked Diablo 2, why not take advantage of that and give the fans something they enjoy? :)

why not pickup pilotwings also..im sure youll like it..

you sound very enthusiastic and i saw the post where you said you can see the 3d and think its awesome... i say buy it now...unless you want the pink 3ds :P

ms555

no thanks for the pink.........im a boy hahaha

What about your sig? (Just teasing :))

Honestly, I'm a huge Zelda fan and I would recommend getting a 3DS for it. Although it has been ported before, this is a complete remake featuring new graphics, new features, new textures, and even a (semi)new difficulty mode once you beat the game. The 3DS itself has lots of features as well. Check out the e-store, you may want to pick up a few oldies from there! ^^

Finally, getting the 3DS now would just mean you'll have money in the future for new games that get released, and you're not overwhelmed by the amount of games you want to buy later this year. I doubt the 3DS is getting cheaper anytime soon, I recommend picking one up. :)

Hmm.. I'm pretty sure the 3D/slider is turned off by enabling parental controls. Kids can hurt their eyes, you know. ;)

Not sure what else is disabled though.

Unfortunately I recently restarted my game, but add me and I'll battle and trade when I beat it again in a couple weeks. :)

dont forget about the short cut from lost woods to goron city

resevl4rlz

Yup, I mentioned that in part 13 of my guide. Not really useful until the final trek, or unless you beat the Fire Temple. :3

13b) You could also go to Lost Woods and use the quick port to Goron City. If you do use this method and have cleared the Fire Temple, there is a shortcut to the top of Death Mountain. Pull Darunia's chair in his room and go back. Use the item from the Fire Temple to make your way right and up the ladder. There, you can go through the path and get up there much faster!

Hehe, well it doesn't help that she stops dead in her tracks if you use a carrot right before the slant downwards near the bridge. :3

In my first playthrough, I think I ended up glitching to the other side, which is funny. I also glitched in Jabu Jabu's mouth by jumping on the fence into his head because I didn't know about the actual way to go in!. xD I eventually found out that what I did was a TAS tactic, and I somehow pulled it off within a few tries. :)

I have to ask, how did you manage to find the fire arrows? I literally had to go and buy a game guide to find out (Didn't have internet at the time...or at least, I didn't get on because it we had dial-up). I got stuck in Ganons castle, another few long weeks trying to figure out how to get passed a certain section of the level. Glad the game had the fishing spot to kill time til I finally gave in and bought the game guide...:P

Fire arrows? Well, in games I tend to be really observant and check every nook and cranny before progressing the story, I love to be a completionist (first time through the game, I had over 40 gold skulltula's before pulling the master sword). On one of my trips to Lake Hylia as a child, I read the slate and it said "When water fills the lake, shoot an arrow at the morning sun" (or something along those lines). I didn't have arrows, so I used a bunch of slingshot seeds. Tried from different angles, then just gave in and assumed I would get a bow later in the game. :)

By the time I got the bow, the first thing I did was go back to Lake Hylia and found out the water wasn't filled! It bugged me for the longest time since I always try and get secrets before progressing. When I finally made it to the Water Temple and beat it, I was so happy to see the water filled. After the long dialogue sequence, I immediately ran to the slate and shot an arrow. I was full of joy when I got the fire arrows! :D

All OoT really requires is observation, that's how I found the dying soldier behind Hyrule Castle market, that was a cool easter egg. :3

Ack, that was an error on my part. Actually, you're supposed to jump the gap with Epona.. I guess you figured it out, though. :)

Congrats!

In case anyone don't want the game spoiled for them:
Argh. I remember my first playthrough on the N64 version back in 98. It took me nearly a week to figure that out. It also took me that long to figure out the last temple was in that area. Actually, I think I used the Longshot to get across instead of epona. I figured out Epona can jump the gap by random chance in one of my later play throughs.
