This is what all 3rd party games are going to look like for the rest of Wii's life.

No dev wants to waste their best people on old unexciting hardware. This game was actually canned by Gearbox because the Wii couldnt handle UE3.0, but they gave it to a small team and this is the result. sad

I have to agree. There will be a few 3rd party standouts over the course of the Wii's life but most will be garbage. You guys waiting for the big 3rd party revolution might as well hang it up because it just isn't coming. Nintendo consoles will always be about first party games and the Wii isn't going to change that.

All signs point to no. About the only thing this game has going for it is the online play, which is only a plus because the Wii is sorely lacking in this area. But really without voice chat what is the point.

Nintendo's online is a mess. There decision's boggle my mind. The fact that it is free is also no excuse.

RE4. It's kind of a shame that the best 3rd party game available is a port from last generation.

Western RPG's get my vote. Sometimes I do enjoy playing through a turn based JRPG but most of them are very linear and really offer no freedom whatsoever.

Wait till Nintendo releases an update that turns the fan on if it gets too hot. Until then, leave it off.Nickman71

I agree. I keep WiiConnect 24 on but standby connection off. There is really no benefit to keeping it connected all of the time.

I'm not afraid to say that Nintendo's comments of late are starting to worry me. They are kind of starting to move in the opposite direction of my gaming tastes and habits. Still, I have been playing Nintendo games for a long time and will continue to do so. I just hope there current trend of oversimplifying everything doesn't carry over into whatever they do from here on out.

Out of those the PS2 might have sold the most but my vote most definitely goes to the Dreamcast. So many classics. Just a great system that died way before it's time.
