So we are 3 weeks into the new NFL season and MY suck ass KC Chiefs are 0-3. They have also lost 11 straight games (the final 8 last season and 3 SO FAR this season). Where this madness will end no one can say but there seems to be no end in sight. The chiefs are so horrible that a once rawkus day (SUNDAY) has now become a day in which non-football activites can actually be taken care of.

So yesterday (SAT) i purchased a PS3. Since i no longer have an XBOX 360, i thought i would need another system other than my WII for games with better graphics. (I'm no graphics whore though)

Day One: i am pretty much satisfied with my purchase and am looking foward to getting some upcoming games like LitleBigPlanet, GoW3, DC universe online, Raw vs. SD 2009 ETC... My GF is beyond happy with the purchase as she had me playing rock band for about 3 hours tonight.

But long story well...long i am pleased with my BRAND NEW Playstation Three.

i've just bought a game for my PS2 titled "shadow of destiny". I popped it in and watched the intro/prologue, followed by the first chapter. I didn't know what the objective was and shut off the game. About 2 days ago i restarted the game and i guess just listened a little more carefully and now i can't put the game down. It's a game with very little gameplay but a really good story where the main character travels back and forth through time to stop his own murder and other disasters from happeneing throughout the small european town. the story has sucked me in and i'm already making guesses on who "my" muderer is. Finally I just want to say that i'd recommend this game to anyone who wants a story driven game because it has one of the better storylines i've come across in a long while

Just some thoughts going through my mind right now.

The dark knight was an awesome movie. One of the best movies I have seen in a long time. The rumors of Johnny Depp playing the riddler in the 3rd movie have me hopeful and full of anticipation. Also Phillip Seymore Hoffman as the penguin is a great choice IMO.

I am a wrestling fan and as so I wonder why the WWE makes the decisions they do. They push big muscled physiques rather than characters with talent and athleticism.

Why are people complaining about Nintendo's E3. Crying about not getting a new mario bros. when galaxy isn't even a year old. I understand where some people are coming from I want a new zelda as well but just because it wasn't revealed at an overrated convention doesn't mean it's not in production. please SHUT THE HELL UP!

Last...I am a 360 owner (for the time being because I am selling it to publish my book) and i recently purchased Rock Band for my PS2. I know it's depth was cut due to the lack of DLC and the such but I enjoy it regardless. And since i'm selling my 360 i had no choice in systems for RB. On that note I am looking foward to RB2 for my PS2 also hopefully GH:WT will be compatible with RB's instruments allowing my friends and I to enjoy the next installments of each rhythm game.

when guitar hero came out it was the sweetest thing to come out in forever...when rock band came out a lot of ppl said this is guitar hero w/ drums. Now that GH has announced "world tour" will include drums and vocals i'm hearing this is just a rip-off of RB. Though it may seem that way it's competition. GH sold sh*tloads of games long before RB. Is it just me or does RB suck? I mean the only reason i've played it was because of the drums. RB's set list is so very weak (indie rock and alternative is lame) while GH3's set listwas off the hook (slipknot, dragonforce, RATM, The stones, GNR, ETC...) and now that a game with an always better set list has the main reason i'd play RB, RB doesn't mean sh*t to me now. And does no one else think tha the RB DLC is gouge-ing the sh*t out wallets...if all these songs come every week it seems they're not too hard to program. If that's the case why not have had them or at least some of the earlier releases included in the game. GH's DLC is BS to me as well. But with this announcement i now no longer will be buying rock band (which i almost did this weekend).

Here's to hopefully a harder, kick-ass heavy metal set list from GH done better w/ RB's hook of drums and a mic

I don't want get up on my soapbox and preach but i've been reading alot of the reviews for recent games and they're so misleading.

GTAIV got a ten but i've read complaints about freezing and little errors. Mario Kart Wii was given a 8.5 because some of the older courses are stale. WTF???

what happened to the fun factor? Replayability? quality?

I've been playing mario kart wii and it's one of the most fufilling games i've played in a long while. the fun factor is through the roof, the WiFi adds a great deal to overall greatness. The older courses really aren't as BORING as the editors are saying.

Also i've been playing iron man for PS2 and it actually is a lot better than the reviews are stating.

it has some clunky controls but the mix of airborn action and ground fighting is a nice change from the other superhero games.
