So Gamespot's answer to providing people with PC based alternatives to Destiny is to just list a bunch of generic games that are mostly console ports? I mean I guess I should have expected it since this is Gamespot, but come on. Titanfall? Dead Space? I mean did they just pick buzzwords from the product description of Destiny and find games that had one of the same buzzwords in their description?
Its a good list, but I think that there are SO many games available right now for relatively cheap prices (especially used at the major game retailers).
No Gooshnads I can get plenty scared. It is just that pretty much anything horror related from Japan is awful, more so if it involves young people and ghosts, and even more so if the ghosts are little boys.
Fatal Frame is hardly terrifying. Nothing horror related that comes out of Japan is terrifying. Silent Hill barely was due to the fact that there was constant tension and you were waiting for something to happen and it very rarely did, which oddly enough is why it worked. And I'm sorry, but you cannot put a game like Half Life 2 on this list because of ONE level. It is a great game but one level in a game that is not in the horror genera just cannot be on this list.
What hellz. Who would REALLY pay double the price of the PS3 just to put in a different hard drive (technically SSD)? Really. If you did that means you pay up to 1500 bucks. Geeze. Buy a phat desktop. EDIT- I see they make a 400 dollar one. Not too bad but still, it is a few seconds of difference. What does it matter.
Uhhh... this seems pointless. Maybe if you didn't need to be at a WiFi or related hotspot or you didn't need the headphones, it would be worth it. Then again, I don't get cell coverage at my house by have a DSL wireless network at my house... hmm....
