Alan Wake: Thomas Zane's Story
by IAmNovak on Comments
Is Tom constantly watching Alan? In some dark instances, you can hear breathing. It sounds like a diver breathing in deep. Alan could be just his younger counterpart? like a son. Tom keeps talking darkness while everything in Alan perception is faulty. If you haven't completed Alan Wake don't read further it will ruin the game for you. In the DLC's it goes deeper into Alan then ever before. At the end,Alan is stuck in the dark place with Tom and everything he wrote was to save Alice and him... Something turned out wrong. Alice was saved but Alan was done his mission. Thomas was like a guardian, a self reassuring figure in the heaviest of traumas. Thomas's books (found inside Bird Leg Cabin) meant an inspiration, a soul searching realization that the lake held power. Everything happened because of the lake and nothing overpowered it.Thomas realized that when his lover Barbra drowned in the lake. He started writing her back as if she came back to life ,but she came back wrong. Tom grabbed a knife from the kitchen and tore Jagger's heart out. With that knowledge of the lake, words spread swiftly and Dr.Emil Hartman (The Town's Psychotherapist) abused the lake as to fulfill his desires. That's a important part in the story that most don't understand I hope I helped you along the way. Yours Truly, IAmNovak P.S. If you have any other questions please ask me. I''m an Alan Wake History Buff.
