So you're saying they looked for it to be compared to Wii Play? :roll:garland51

Before you dish out the , I was being sarcastic about that guy's statement... sales dont always correlate with quality. ;)

While both Nintendo & Microsoft have less exclusives than Sony has right now, they are filled with quality rather than quantity. Sony is too busy wasting tons of money making all of these exclusive games in which won't even sell well, save for a few like Uncharted or Gran Turismo.

hmmm....I don't know man. Little Big Planet 2, Killzone 3, and Infamous 2 are most definitely high quality top notch games and exclusives . Little big planet and Killzone have both sold over a mill and Infamous 2 was one of the best selling games of June and has been selling quite a bit since it came out

That's such a silly analogy and I'm going to prove you wrong later. We all know Sony lost the personal data of it's users and Sony could have prevented it.

---

"As for what that means to PSN and Qriocity users, Sony said that "an unauthorized person" has gained access to such identifying information as registrants "name, address (city, state, zip), country, e-mail address, birth date, PlayStation Network/Qriocity password and login, and handle/PSN online ID." Sony recently told a group of investors that the PSN currently has some 75 million registered users."

---

It's also been proven that the attack against Sony was provoked. Sony had also laid off it's security staff earlier this year while using an out of date Firewall to secure it's user's data. If a bank had a big sign saying "Hey! We laid off all our employees and our security cameras are completely broken." then yes, I would hold that bank accountable for every action.

Those are valid arguments and valid links; I suggest you start using them before you continue on your little rant.

Zophar87

Maybe Sony "could" have prevented it but even the government has been hacked when targeted like Sony was targeted . My analogy was spot on. Your analogy was over exaggerated and really is ridiculous Plus your clearly misinformed as there have been no incidents of any information ever being stolen as the data was encrypted and that's one of many precautions.Sony took when they were illegally attacked after having been maliciously targeted by cyber criminals. But regarding your first link. Should we go ahead and blame a bank for being targeted and not the criminals that targeted them? And by your logic let's put all the blame squarely on the bank for not being able to prevent a robbery . Since they could have not been robbed But ill take the psn outage over PROD any day. At least I still had a system to play. And the outage was not Sony's fault where as the PROD was soley Microsoft's fault And you must have forgot about the welcome back program as well. The psn outage is so old news. That's over with

Yeah, right... How is my analogy over exaggerated? I'm only playing off your logic.

Hey, Sony rolled the red carpet and left the doors wide open and that wasn't their fault? You're missing the point though, while I do blame the hackers to a certain extent I feel as though it would be ludicrous to not hold Sony accountable for the actions. If you leave your car unlocked and it gets stolen, isn't it your fault for not remembering to lock up your car?

I know it's old news but it's still a valid argument and it would be absurd to think otherwise.

ok enough with the analogies Sony did not roll the carpet and leave the doors wide open. That's how you are exaggerating. And its all moot because no data or information was ever stolen. It was just a possibility that Sony informed us to be aware of. But just so you know Microsoft is not immune to an attack,no matter how secure your lead to believe it is,just because you pay 60 a year for it. It happens, but Sony did what they could as best they could and in the end no data or information was ever stolen and then Sony went way beyond then what Microsoft would have ever done in the same situation, and offered FREE online protection services AND rolled out a kick ass welcome back program AND a month free of psn +. I honestly would love to see how Microsoft would have handled a similar situation and if they would have offered all the services Sony did. Another point is that Sony was targeted because they stood up to the criminal hackers when no one else would Sony could cure cancer and you 360 fanboys would still hate them and find some twisted way to turn it into a negative

My 360 has more problems then I care to share with you. Oh well, at least not losing my personal data and credit card info isn't one of them.

Zophar87

I never had that problem either! And from the looks of it no one really else has either, since you know, there are no.reports are evidence of any ps3 user ever having any information stolen. And the outage was soley due to hackers. Would you blame a bank for getting robbed, or would you blame the criminals?

Microsoft has 3 exclusives coming out this holiday season that Sony drools over because of projected the sales numbers.

Also 3rd party gamessale more on the 360. Don't they?

There are games on the 360?

XBLA has some good games right now with themulti-plats. Give em a try. You might like them?

Baxhand

Homie please.... You can keep the over rated thrash that is Gears. We have Uncharted so gears who? And lol at ANOTHER halo...again, but a remake of the first one. Yeah, we sure are drooling over that /sarcasm And Forza? Please....i could care less about driving sims Regardless ps3 users have the orginal OG of racing sims. Gran Turismo Forza started out as a poor man's version of Gran Turismo

Dude people will be playing Gears 3 after Uncharted 3 has faded off into the sunset.

That poor guys version knocked out the champ 10 years ago ? Right?

Uncharted 2 MP still has a community. You'd be suprised actually But even if your right, that first 10-15 hours that you play Uncharted's 3 campaign for will be gaming nirvana so it can ride into sun set for all I care head held high But a lot of people loved the U3 MP Beta and said it was addicting so.....just throwing that out there And really the only game that will sell like hot cakes is sadly the Halo remake. I wouldn't be suprised if U3 out sells GoW3

And Mario Kart is superior to both Forza and GT.

Problem?

I agree. I love Mario kart. And its like the only racing game i can.play and have fun with

[QUOTE="IDoItLikeAboss"][QUOTE="mynamesdenvrmax"]Sony almost always flops their exclusives. They dont know hoe to support anything they release. Sony seems like a mess of Japanese guys trying to figure out what the western market wants, but cant do it. Honestly, the only people I find that love the PS3 are Japanophile nerds, homies (a status thing I guess), or people who arent in the know about gaming now days they just buy it beacuse the Playstatation 2 was good.Zophar87

And the only people that like the 360 are 12 year old geeks,40 year old virgins, and hillbillys. See i can play that game too. And at least Sony has never Rare'd a developer like M$ has It's either that or the sleezy corporate fat cats at M$ made one of the dumbest buys ever when they bought a supposedly dying Rare for almost half a billion There have also been reports of M$ strong arming developers and dropping shady deals, under going shady practices and or against the competition, and monopolizing I mean it is all some what speculation but the FACT is that Microsoft was found to be in violation of USA ANTI TRUST LAWS and was peanilized. That's all the proof you really needed for the kind of company M$ is. You could also add over charging for online play with xbox live, nickel and diming gamers, starting the whole DLC fad, and of course what they did to rare Shall I continue? Oh and if Killzone 3 and Infamous 2 are flops then send more of those flops my way!! Flop must mean awesome game now! And yeah, at least Sony cares about its fans at the end of the day Oh and did I mention free online? It's allowed me to buy an extra game here and there throughout the years, then if I would have been paying for the extortionbthat xbox live is instead And lastly gamers that buy a ps3 or the smart gamers that have done their research and know that the Ps3 is superior in every way to the 360. Why buy a 360 when you can buy a ps3 and get ALL the multi plats PLUS the amazing ps3 exclusives + free online + blue ray

you mean the ones this year where the majority flopped?
