I've had halo 3 for some time And I've beat it on all difficulties (Not to give anything away But Beat the game on legendary for the complete ending...) Everyone will have their opinion of something this big and hyped. I, for one, was very pleased with the game and its ending, granted it doesn't break much new ground with actual gameplay but thats not whatI wanted. All I wanted and expected was a Halo game and with 3 thats whatI got more of what made halo what it is. Just done to the best it could be and in my opinion it has. But if that is indeed halo's score, 8.5 isn't bad at all... Thats a great score, I would have given it higher but still a great score. Not everyone isgoing to be happy with the direction bungie went in but not everyone will be unhappy either.... Everyones got an opinion.
I've had Halo 3 for a while now, And I'd review it as a 5 out of 5.... Its a great game in my opinion (granted it doesn't break much newground but it was what I expected). Overall it was thoroghly enjoyable, and ended quite well (Not to give anything away but for the real ending skip the other difficulties and head straight for Legendary, it has the true ending fo the game). In the end its a huge release and because of it everyones eyes will be shifted toward halo (especially the very critical eyes)... And not everyone has the same idea of how it should turn out. Not all people will be happy and not all people will be unhappy. I, for one, was very happy but everyone will have their own opinion
I own Halo 3... I've had it since this past thursday. Its a good game... But healing powers unfortunately did not come with the copy.... Unfortunately.
Johnson escaped halo with a few other marines before it exploded. Johnson also managed to escape infection by the flood through unusual means. He has a rare condition known as Boren's Syndrome which gives himabnormal frequencies in his nervous system which serve as a buffer to the flood attempting to infest his mind and body. When he was attacked by the flood they weren't able toinfest his mind and take him over because of this syndrome. Effectively Johnson is immune to the flood, unable to be infected by them. Once he found out what the flood were after killing one of his own men who was infectedand realizing what they can do, he fled. Battled his way out and escaped. As for the legendary ending of halo, it was a fake, Humorous ending meant merely to provide laughs and not to have any continuity to thestoryline whatsoever. After that is when he escaped the halo's destruction, hid amongst the debris from the destroyed halo till he was picked up by Master Chief. However, something interesting and worth noting is the fact that Johnson may indeed be a spartan himself.A Spartan 1 to be exact from project orion which is the first generation of spartans(as Master Chief would beof the more advanced Spartan 2 project). It is also speculated that the Boren Syndrome would simply be a cover to protect this fact. Even more speculation and rumor isthat Johnson was involved in the assassination of a naval officer in the UNSC. But all of Johnson possibly being a spartan 1 is shady at best and is not known for sure, its just a lose end and a mystery floating about the halo saga. Till more iswritten on that subject we cant know for sure.... either way, Hope all this was helpful.
Granted Master Chief being colored the way he is is acceptable. But That color scheme does not work well for a 360, It would appear that the color scheme is the obvious sell point for the hard core Halo fan. But mass appeal is not pouring out of that model of the 360 at all.
