Last weekend, I think Saturday. GTA IV. And I love the game, and I've played a lot of great demos too: The Force Unleashed, Skate, Dead or Alive IV, Soul Calibur IV, NBA Street Homecourt, and Too Human (the only one that sucked completely).
You forgot 10-20 hours a week. Probably what I would have chosen, but I haven't had my Xbox for a week soo I'm not sure. But once I've had it for a while or once I finish the first few games that I get, I'll start playing a lot less...until I get a new game. :) Oh yeah, also it's the end of summer and nobody really wants to do anything so I have a lot of free time (xbox time). Once school starts I'll stop playing so much too.

Im sorry MS but knowing your hardware is so weak you should do like Sony and release one good game a year, youd spend less on repairs.
This is like the golden age of gaming, enjoy it my friends, it could be all downhill from here. Maybe our kids will have to go back to playing outside...uck...

Well i was considering getting GT3 but i was wondering if is hould just wait and get the world tour part with the guitar. Are they gonna sell world tour with instruements individually or just the complete band kit? Morphic
You still buy just the game+guitar, or you can buy the whole band pack. And you can still buy the game alone which means other controller will work.

All 360's made after June of last year have a new chip that effectively steers away from the Red Ring of Death. If you do not have an updated system, keep the system away from other electronics (such as DVD players or other gaming systems). I personally keep a fan on mine when it's on, but I have my computer refrigerated, too, so... I'm a little extreme. Keep it out of corners, away from electronics that produce heat, and keep it on the top of your entertainment center (if you have one) shelf. Ummm... Keep the dust off from it... If you don't like shooter... Get a Wii... *barf* But if you're not a child, or a hard-core gamer, the 360 has more of a selection of non-shooters than the PS3 will ever have. Anything from kid games to RPG's, to puzzle-games. Ask for a list, otherwise, I'm not gonna do the research. XD What kind of games do you enjoy? Narrow it down for me. :PIbaapzo
I like fighting games (definitely getting Soul Calibur IV, maybe DOA4, and DBZ Burst Limit when the price goes down), I like games like GTA (thinking about Saints Row 2), used to play 3D-platformers/Action-Adventure but haven't found a good one since I was like 10, and some less-simulator-ish sports games (NBA Street, Blitz, Tony Hawk). Oh and Music games. But I doubt there are any exclusives that fit into those catergories, so maybe I'll just stick with 2nd, 3rd party, whatever it's called, unless of course you have some good suggestions (they don't have to fit into any of those catergories). Sorry, I know how annoying these "I don't know what I want so why don't you tell me" topics are.
It looks good fun, and will be a must-buy for any Star Wars fan.
Buy or rent? No-one can say until they've had a chance to play it. The lack of multiplayer might put some people off, but then Oblivion and Mass Effect don't have multiplayer, but are both games to buy rather than rent

I would totally be fine if Force Unleashed had a single player over 30 hours and had no multiplayer. But I think I read somewhere that it was under 12 hours, which really doesnt seem worth it unless theres something else to do.
Well, look at it this way, $60 for 12 hours of entertainment, that's $5 an hour. Some people pay $20 for an hour and a half movie. I think I might buy it, because there is no rental place where I live (besides those RedBox machines, those only have movies). I'm not a big Star Wars fan (Ihaven't even seen all the movies) but the game looks really fun.
If you had a PS3 and wanted PS3 exclusives then that would rule out any games that cross platform over to the 360..

Yeah, I had it sitting on top of my TV, is that bad? Does the heat from the TV effect it? I don't really have anywhere else to put it except a semi-closed in shelf in the entertainment center. I thought that would be worse because the ventilation would be worse and my little sister could reach it, but maybe not.
