UC2. Heavy rain is a bit too mature, especially with the nudity. UC2 is more of a summer blockbuster film than Heavy Rain being a dark noir 1960s kind of film.

No, they go by a 5-11 year OS life-cycle before they release ANYTHING so I doubt it.

so theres a virus that can kill your hdd now? damn... wonder if they will make a virus that will kill your cpu or ram or gpu next...supertrooper23

You obviously don't understand the nature of SOME viruses.

They can screw up the read/write sectors to do a secure overwrite (overwrite everything with blank data) of everything on the drive, screw with the rotations and motors, causing it to go into overdrive and overheat, and after a couple of minutes, the HDD pretty much either is destroyed from the motors displacing, or silently powers off... PERMANENTLY:o!

I have a macbook that is 2 GHz and 2 GB Ram Graphics card Nvidia GeForce 9400M I run windows on it, I just want to know up around to what year can I expect to play games decently? I realize nothing if the new stuff is possible like Assassin's Creed(the first) won't run, and Left 4 Dead worked in lowest possible settings fine, so much for the HD eraKingmohd84

Dude... AC runs fine 1024x768, 3/4 details, no multisampling, no shadows.

L4D runs with shaders, textures, and paged etc. on high at 800x600 or 1024x768.

The 9400m is a huge step up, I'd expect games like DOOM 3 on high though some settings like textures can be left on medium, Half Life 2 ep1 and ep2 running fine with shaders medium, crysis is a game you really have to tweak for your system, and newer games like Bioshock 2 should be decent at actor detail high, shaders medium or low, etc. at 1024x768 or lower. Bioshock 2 isn't really nice to the low end crowd nowadays, the minimum GPU mem is now 256 instead of 128.

You can't really give a definite answer since every game was different then and now...

I think back in 1999, 2000 and around that time was when you could get the rare virus from GS, much like download.com. After that they stopped user-file uploading on both sites, and started scanning every file before uploading it to the servers. You should be safe, download with confidence.
