Well, I've played TWEWY for about 10 days or so and it's not awkward I think on the top screen. The top screen character (I can't give you a concrete name, because multiple characters use the top screen) can be used by the CPU who fortunately isn't that stupid. You can set it to how fast it picks up to being auto-controlled, from 3 seconds idle, to almost instant, to keeping it manually all the way. The touch screen can get a little hectic though. The game is a little uncooperative when it comes to what makes a circle, and if you have like a circle-drawing pin, and a drag-objects-around pin, it ends up getting frustrating sometimes. The game has a higher learning curve compared ot some other games but it's not like break-your-DS-in-two kind of frustrating, anyone can get into the game after getting the hang of it.
