Are intercoolers loud? Do they look stupid? Is there any chance that they might do harm to my PS3 instead of help?Haseokicksass
The whole point of the intercooler is to blow away heat from your PS3 and the (faster you adjust) the speed the louder the intercooler last but not least, do they look stupid? i'll leave that up to you too judge.
According to the picture that looks like a good spot your ps3 wont be in a condensed area you'll should also think about getting a NYKO intercooler it has five fans and you can adjust the speeds to help prevent over heating and enable you to play longer.
If i were you i would wait and buy the 80gb ps3 console, because you will be paying the same price for a 40gb ps3. Having an 80gb ps3 will give your ps3 more space to download games, music, photos and etc don't for get you will be paying for the same as a 40gb ps3 makes a lot more sense to wait, i have 60gb ps3 i bought mine when ps3 was first launched but an 80gb is nicer to have.
