Oh damn, i've been waiting for someone to bring this up for a long time... dude i couldnt agree with you more. We are going through a realist phase and thats not a bad thing. IT allows developers to push resources to the limit and produce some great games. And in all honesty not all the shiny amazing realistic games are fun to play, some I even force myself to say is good. Games were made for us to enjoy, not for us to nit pick and review all its flaws... for example i loved playing Shaun White Snowboarding... wicked fun, great times but it got slammed in the reviews. I am a snowboardeer and so what if its not the most realistic snowboarding simulation... if i wanted real i'd hit the real slopes. EVERYONE JUST HAVE FUN... DAMN!
Can't say it looks all terrible, but he graphics still dont look as good as they should. face it COD4 pretty much killed other games in that category. But nothing looks all that innovative, too bad i was really looking forward to it
