if ur on XP using directx 9 u can only set crysis to high, if u have directx 10 crysis has a 'very high' setting so when u run crysis on high ur running the equivalent of warhead on high (or whatever setting is below enthusiast) thats probably whats going on

i think the max for the core2s is supposed to be 70C there are a bunch of programs, everest and realtemp are the two i can think of right now

maybe there are some leftover registry entries or something find out where in the registry that game stores entries and try deleting them

try increasing the northbridge voltage, that could be the reason it bluescreens with 2 sticks but not 1, i once had an issue where i would get BSODs form 2 sticks in dual channel but not in single channel, it was form NB voltage being too low u could try using PRIME95 to test the RAM stability, i think memtest is mainly to test the RAM for errors, if u run PRIME95 in the mode that uses RAM u should be able to get a BSOD in a few minutes if u still have a RAM voltage issue
