Find me a console for $350 that can play the latest games. Note that I don't own a HDTV or sound system so include those in the total.

Also find me a console with full mod support, KB/M standard, full gamepad support, user operated dedicated servers for MP games, MP standard of 24 minimum, free P2P online, the most independent developer support, triplehead2go, resolution up to 2560x1600, 16AA/16AF support, non proprietary hardware, the ability to overclock, Steam Community, and Xfire.

Consoles offer only simplicity, a prime market for casual gamers.

360 is the lead platform (that demo is on the 360) and there is regenerating health.

Xbox'd just like Deus Ex Invisible War and Bioshock.

I find it quite sad that multiple consoles are required to take on the PC in a poll... and PC is winning it at that.

If that doesn't speak volumes of which system is the best I don't know what does.

KB/M support alongside controllers is not enough IMO, it needs to be standard. Otherwise the games will still be balanced around a gamepad.

I will become exclusively a console gamer when;

1) I can overclock the console.
2) I can build and fix it myself without voiding warranties.
3) I can make it as cheap or expensive as I want.
4) The price of games goes down from $70CDN ($79.79 with tax... no thanks).
5) Full mod support on consoles (creation included).
6) Free online, 32 players standard for FPS games, user created/admined dedicated server support.
7) No limit to the framerate, resolution, and detail of the games.
8) Valve and Blizzard stop making games for PC.

Very true, I've always wanted to build my own computer but I have little idea as to how. If someone could link me to a good guide then that would be nice, instead of just listing all the parts on Newegg.Sparky04

Everything comes with a manual to properly set it up.

As with all Valve games, I take their release dates with a grain of salt.

I don't believe a thing until I'm actually playing the game now. ;)

Replacing your 8800GTS 320 with a 640 would show marginal performance gains at that resolution.

Is there actually something that doesn't run flawlessly on that system right now?
