Degredation of Gaming

I'm gonna make this short, being up late and such drains me. As of recent, past month, a friend and I have begun to distance ourselves from the gaming world. Many factors have put me in this direction, same with my friend.

My issues go along the lines of my title. Gaming isn't what it use to be, it was territory undiscovered, fresh, surreal. I suppose it still is in some cases, but in my mind it has gotten so very dull. Also developers and companies in general just don't make effort to blow minds of anyone who plays them. Too many things are predictable, too many things are easily influenced through money. Where does it get you?? Not far. Gaming has great aspects but once again, I'm over it.

It has actually been a good change. I feel more free in doing things. I have many hobbies I focus on more. It's just more refreshing. I still game but its not as often and I don't mind skipping gaming when it comes to anything else.

Nothing good

Had a rather ruff night gaming today. Honesty and sportsmanship are clearly ideals no longer present in today's gaming. The more I stick my neck out into the gaming community the more I despise such groupings of people. I suppose its like anyone outside in public, I shouldn't be surprised like I am now. But for the fact people have no shame or ideals because they play through a computer instead of in person is a horrid way to go about life.

200 and counting...

Well I'll start my blog with this event if you will call it that. I own just over 200 games, I find it hard to believe I've got that many then I look at my shelves and it all flooding back, literally. A few older games aren't on GameSpot's games list but that's alright, I'm current on gaming and you can tell. I'd go so far as to say I've owned over 100 additional games. But at a point in my teenage years I sold them to GameStop. Thinking that was a brilliant idea I continued my spree of gaming (didn't realize until a few games more sold to GameStop that it's a huge rip-off).

If there's one thing I can truly gain from all this, its the fact I've enjoyed my time spent on all of these games. Weekends during school, hours spent playing over homework time, all-night gaming with sugar and caffeine, its all been fun and something I wont ever forget.

Now it hits me on how much I've spent on my voyage of gaming. Holy crap I could have a car by now.
