To put it bluntly, I was pretty much disappointed with E3 this year - No way to dodge around it. It was filled with gimmicks.. to say the least.

As a matter of fact. Nintendo, in my opinion, had the best conference.

Why? Because they showed off the most GAMES, and not just sequels.. they are actually remaking all the classics we know and love. Yes the 3DS was the wrap-up of their show.. but at least they showed off something new... I mean come on 3D with no glasses is a + .

Microsoft, Microsoft, Microsoft... what can I say... The eyetoy has been around for YEARS!! The technology seems to be about the same.. and if it sells as good as the eyetoy.. lets just say that wont be enough (aka it sold BAD)

Sony, Ok, wiimotion ++ actually looks pretty good.. but hey, its only an improvement of whats already been done... plus you basically only presented what looked like tech demos.. and nothing that really catered towards older gamers.. Take that sorcery and gladiator thing to the next level and make full scale rated M RPG's... then I might be convinced.

I did enjoy seeing the sequels to halo, gears, and killzone... but I was expecting to see much more new IP's. Similar to what Sony presented last year.. Modnation, Heavy Rain, MAG, etc.

MS needs to either scoop someone up or get their first party working on something good... because right now they are being carried by bungie it seems.

Nintendo surprised me this year because they are normally the ones that show off the gimmicks... instead they went back to good games and presented what looks like could be the next step in handheld gaming.
