i really liked X. i dont know why alot of people didnt like it. i can understand how they didnt agree with the lack of free world roaming but it didnt bother me too much. other than than that go with VIII. VIIs a classic but it doesnt showcase the FF depth imo. i dont mean story wise. and people like IX but i didnt get too into it. it was pretty good though.
i'd love to continue my story. especially if i could keep my skills and use put it on an insane difficulty. i beat mass effect on the hardest difficulty and it really wasnt that hard tbh. id like a little more available challenge next time
i've put in a ridiculous amount of oblivion time because its an awesome game. i've gotten the rings once before but i was playing a naruto demo.... but any ways yes you should get oblivion. it wont specifically cause red rings. especially not if you install it on your HDD.
