While surfing the web, I had discovered that Windows 7(Code Name) is due out at the end of this year. While I could not
stand Windows Vista, the new os pretty much looks the same to me as vista does. Is it just me, or does microsoft tend NOT
to ask the general public what it is they want in an operating system? With Vista had been released in 2006, I did partition
my hard drive, to try it out, and what I discovered was that most programs on my computer either would not work with Vista,
or freeze to the point where I would have to do a hard boot, and start over. I can remember when I upgraded from Windows
2000 to WindowsXp I had no problems whatsoever, except for having to download patches from the microsoft windows
update site, which was not a problem. Unforuanlty, I did not get the chance to download the beta version of Windows 7, so I
really do not know how it will fair in comparison to Visa. In summary, let me say that Microsoft needs to stop releasing
operating systems that are graphics hogs. Unless you have a gaming computer with a decent sized hard drive/videocard,
forget about anything running smoothly. Well, there it is. Feel free to leave your comments, negative or otherwise. Thanks
for reading.
