I don't know why, but I've always adored the music in the Total War series. They just add so much to the game; in my opinion, it is second only to the Zelda series.

Now where were we? Oh, right. The "Wii had bad graphics" discussion.

While I am well aware that this isn't that kind of thread, that's what it all boils down to. The graphics. Now, I'm not going to pretend to know anything technical about the Wii. Heck, I only know the bare minimum of what I need to for my PC! However, the biggest gripe that the Wii gets is its many, many party games. The second biggest gripe are the poor graphics. I'm sure it's been said many times, and I'm sure it will said again: pardon my French, but who gives a damn about graphics? I still play my old copy of Ocarina at least once per year; it's an OCD thing with me. Ocarina is still my favorite game ever created, except for Yahtzee... because that's just awesome. MH3 had quite good graphics, as did the Galaxy games. And The Conduit. Sorry X-Box 360, I'll stick with my beautiful white box.

Mine would definitely be Riku (the first time) in Kingdom Hearts. After I found him in the Hollow Bastion, he stole my keyblade, threw a wooden sword at me, and left me for dead, and did the same to Beast. Plus, he stole my buddies. That made me sad. SSSSssssssssssssSSSssssssssssssad BOOM. Anyway, after fighting my way through a huge castle with pretty much nothing but a hulking lackey to defend myself, I was greeted with a delicious cutscene in which my friends rejoined my and I reclaimed the Keyblade. Then I beat up Riku and he ran away. Heh heh...

I know this has probably been done before, even though I'm new. But what was your favorite game of all time? And don't just tell me a name. Write me an essay. Well, not a five page thesis, but still, tell me everything you love about it.

EDIT: I'll start with my own favorite game. My favorite game of all time would have to be Kingdom Hearts, the original. For one thing, it was the first video game that I'd ever played, apart from stuff on the GBA. Secondly, it drew together my favorite characters of all time (Disney) and threw them in with characters that I hadn't ever heard of (I was only six when I got it), though these characters intrigued me. I wanted to learn more about this world, these many worlds, and, after beating the game twice, and beatingKHII twice, I felt like I knew a lot about what the universe had to offer. That was three years ago. I still love this game, and I've re-beaten it twice since my second play-through.
