@TalesOfGod youd be glad to crush my argument with points that dont really make much sense. microsoft is full of jerks who bully everybody, and the fact they made hundreds of prototypes of the controller to ensure everything was perfect is a waste of their time and you would rather have your controller not be improved at all. have you ever seen the statistics on how much money random companys spend on logos? seriously look it up. the simplest, simplest, simplest logos have had WAYYYYYY more money invested into them than this because the smallest things always matter. also, the new policy they had was an extremely innovative idea, and people like you over reacted that next gen wasnt going to be exactly the same as current gen. microsoft does care about the consumer because they were trying to change the way they could play video games forever, but of course people like you had to overreact at the idea and not put much thought into it causing them to have to turn it around because they do care about the consumer as everybody seemed angry about it for little to no reason. also name me some valid points that i would actually care about where microsoft 'betrayed me'? seems like a ridiculous generalization of statement. and there is justification to spend that much money on a controller, because it is something that millions of people are going to use! it has to be pitch perfect for the optimum expierience! the only reason i can think of that would make sony not do the same thing is because we all know they dont have nearly as large a budget. feel free to crush my argument with the general, unspecific, biased crap you have been posting on here with literally no evidence supporting your argument. its clear none of your teachers put too much effort into grading your papers in school! you said its a fact microsoft betrayed customers, like what fact wtf are you on about. as for the whole if you dont like it jump off a cliff thing that is just what happened with new windows versions every time they came out with a new one because news companys want money just because people didnt like the sound of new ideas they were yet to even expierience. "hey lets throw hundreds of millions of dollars into an idea and then just not use it because cnn said we are telling you to jump off a cliff if you dont like it."

You are totally correct, microsoft doesnt care about the gamers that they sell to, which is why they consistently are trying to get exclusive early DLC open to everybody before any other console can possibly get their hands on it. Also, have you never worked for a single company in your entire life? Because if you didnt know ANYTHING it only takes ONE person to make a company look bad, even if every body else is trying their absolute best, and before you can fire them or discipline them the damage is already there and done. Microsoft is a MASSIVE company with thousands and thousands and thousands of employees and making sure every single person is someone who cares about the consumer is an impossible task and it is ridiculous how people continue to label microsoft as a crap company where they all just want a million bucks. If you didnt know, creating a controller that is going to be being used by millions and millions of people that wont fail, fall apart, will have long battery life, look spacious, feel comfortable, thin, and accurate is a job that will cost you some serious cash to handle. they already had enough problems with the xbox 360 not being reliable enough and obviously they are trying to make it absolutely perfect by investing the right amount of money into this kind of stuff to make sure it never happens again... How could you even say that microsoft doesnt care about what they are giving to the consumer if they just invested HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS INTO SOMETHING THAT THEY ARE ALL GOING TO NEED TO USE!!!! you guys sound like one of those people who see a sport that looks easy because everybody on the team is extremely talented and working to their absolute limit and think that that means you could go and do it, probably the best example of this being racecar driving... you could never design a xbox controller for potentially the biggest release in entertainment in history because designing a controller is something people go to college and learn about for years and put their entire life into designing things just like it . more than likely a massive chunk of the money was just put into research on what consumers were happy with the controller and what they wish was improved... obviously they were happy with the overall layout because it does look almost identical and they also fixed the things that the consumers were not happy with in the first place. so much for microsoft not caring about the consumers that play with their console! only a company that truly didnt care about them would invest hundreds of millions of dollars into a controller! what ignorance!
