So, since my last blog, I started to re-play NFS: Most Wanted, this time for PC, and here are my first impressions in several nutshells:
1. It's even more pretentious than Carbon as in system requirements. The environment is extremely complex and also I believe that the weather system contributes to this as well. And I'm not even on maximum detail, but even onmedium detail it doesn't work too smooth sometimes.
2. I picked up the game in the hope that the pursuit part of the game is more consistent than Carbon. Well, I can't believe it myself, but it's true. Unfortunately, all the challenge series (over 60) are only tollbooths and pursuits, butat least they arevery fun... until some point whenthe cops start to have the bad habit of appearing right after you entered Cooldown. Pretty frustrating and I'm only halfway through all the Challenge Series... Ironically, the hardest thing is to do isn't completing the milestone(s) but to evade once you've done that...
3. Checked out Quick Race and I'm amazed to see that drag is actually easier than I thought. The traffic is a bit frustrating even when it's minimal but other than that I didn't expected to handle the manual transmission so easy.
Also, I'm seriously thinking of getting Sam & Max Episode 1: Culture Shock. A friend of mine showed me today the demo and I can say that I was really impressed.
