[QUOTE="Hungry_Homer111"][QUOTE="7CloudStrife7"]Shouldn't both games be released before arguing about them?

With most games that's true, but with this game, it's Melee plus. We already know what to expect, especially with the updates on Dojo.
There's a difference between looking at a website and playing the game. He's right, let's come back to this argument when Brawl is out.
if that's how everybody feels, then I'm ok with it, im pretty sure there's more to Brawl than what the site shows
In terms of pure fun,
nothing beats Brawl with a room full of your friends going at eachother.SMG is great as a single player experience.

good point, that's exactly what i tred to tell him, but no
Well, I just got into an argument with a friend of mine about Galaxy being more fun than Brawl because of it's uniqueness and Galaxy will last longer than Brawl. Brawl will be played a lot more than Galaxy, we know that, and will be great.
"Brawl will be played a lot more than Galaxy, and will be great, but the short time that Galaxy lasted will be better than Brawl. Brawl = Melee plus. Great but not unique enough.
Galaxy which has more unique gameplay, and is a lot of fun, but for a limited amount of time.
Or Brawl, which is like an expansion of Melee. Not making a huge change like Galaxy, but making a lot of smaller improvements in different areas, and more replay value."
personally I think a game doesn't have to be uber unique to be fun, it doesn't mean nothing if it's not fun. I'm with Brawl when it comes to being more fun.
Did we play the same game? I found the controls fantastic making the otherwise average gameplay more enjoyable and had no problem at all with lag. No lag, no problems, just Nazi shooting funtimes. And the graphics are much better than PS1 level. I gave it an 8.5 in my review and I stand behind that score. It's a great game, one of the best the Wii has, and the best online experience the Wii has right now.Hoffgod
i feel the exact same way for the game, its really fun, been playing it for hours
[QUOTE="Bio_Spark"][QUOTE="white45e"][QUOTE="Bio_Spark"][QUOTE="white45e"][QUOTE="CyberRuler"]lol @ mass effect and bioshock having unique art style. SMG and NMH dont try to look photo-realistic and instead have their own look... unlike mass effect and bioshock that look like every other game white45e
and cellshaded graphics have never been done before ?
fail
Of course they've been done before. But that's not the point. It's the combination of the cel-shading and the heavy use of shadows to create an edgy, stylish, and unique look. It works well for a game about assasination. Pretty graphics are great, but they're even better when they suit the feel of the game and enhance it accordingly.
nmh doesnt look unique..
it just looks really boring and generic
Generic how?
I defy you to find a single game with this exact style. Even killer 7 is radically different, and that's the closest there is.
just pick 5 random n64,gc games and there u go
just face it, you cant name them yourself
