@PSYCHOV3N0M: I think that kind of thinking is narrow minded. If a game can technically have a co-op mode, then it in fact should have it. The purists that like to play games as difficult as possible or alone, can still do it, by just leaving the co-op alone, if they don't dig it. Why not have the option to play either way? There for sure are fans for either approach. I myself love good co-op playing in practically any type of game. And with co-op there is in fact no better way to play it than with your friend. I think it should be also better business for the game publishers if they can please both, the purists and the social players. I like playing both ways, but as a working man and a father of a little boy, I don't have that much time in general for playing games on their most difficult modes. So co-op comes also sometimes helpful for that.
