Even with that though, I think Assassins Creed would be the better choice because of the amount of content in the game. I love GoW as much as the next guy, but Assassins Creed is more bang for your buck. Assassin's Creed 2 is a 30ish hour game (according to most people who have finished it, anyway) for $60. God of War Collection is a 20ish hour game for $40. I'm not sure AC is necessarily "more bang for your buck." It will be, once it drops in price in a few months, as Ubisoft games always do - which is all the more reason for the OP to buy GoW now, and AC later. I can say the main quest is 30 hours, but to find all feathers, glyphs, platinum, fully upgrade your villa, for me is roughly 60 hours. I guess everyone is different. In all honest, he can't go wrong with either

From personal experience, I've beat GOW 1 & 2 in under 15 hours put together. I've put that much time in Assassins Creed 2( no side mission) and already have more than that, and I'm only 1/4 through the game. I think Assassins Creed will last you longer
