Just to say this first, i don't think World of Warcraft is a bad game, only a bit overhyped. I think World of Warcraft could be so much better. Yeah, yeah, do it yourself then, i'm just being objective.

That said back to the main event of this blog entry, WoW is going down. With all the great MMO's that are coming out with each there own uniqueness, it's going to be pretty hard for World of Warcraft to stand out. Just to sum things up:

• Champions Online: Customization to the max
• Guild Wars 2: A living world around the player? Can someone spell WIN?
• Aion: Tower of Eternity: Dunno, more of the same but with insane graphics

That said either Cataclysm is just gonna throw all the graphics and mechanics overboard or WoW is going to lose a moderate amount of subscribers.

I think at least i'm no expert on economics and bla bla bla
