Why does it always take so long for games this damn good to appear as a "Greatest Game of All Time"?

Looks like the Halo 2 PC graphics. They'll have to do a lot better than that to impress anyone.

Halo is pretty overrated, but it's still damn fun. I really like it. I know that PC users are getting the better deal, but since my computer is really crappy when it comes to playing games newer than HL2 and I don't have the money to upgrade, I'll stick with the 360 gaming (and some PC here and there, ArmA runs fine suprisingly and you gotta love the mods for HL2). EDIT: And I subscribe to PC gamer to torture myself with the games I could be playing and the rigs I could be using. :)

How about something like Doom or Earthbound? This list isn't anywhere near complete.

Star Wars: Jedi Knights 2: Jedi Outcast. In fact, most of the Star Wars games that came out for the PC, like the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter flight simulators will work perfectly with older systems. Star Wars is the way to go for all your gaming-on-an-old-pc needs.

My dad and I bought one before this article came out, and funnily enough, we used the exact same method!
