Not sure which I prefer though! Homeworld definately has a great story (HW1 is positively EPIC and Cataclysm is brilliant - the enemies are terrifying!) so I found myself caught up in the story. Sins is much more like a great big sand pit. A lovely, awesome sand pit. It's battles are cleaner and it's VERY satisfying to use the ship's special actions/weapons. I'm currently re-playing HW2 and also Sins so I'm undecided as to which I like more... I think someone below said HW for story, Sins for Gameplay. Perhaps by a nats wing!
Agreed - to clarify, in Sins, all ships are on the same plane (think of the axis on a graphs - x = horizontal, y = vetical. In Sins every ship would have the same Y value - just different X and Z (depth) values. And if you still don't get it then...how did you manage to instal either in the first place?! ; )
