I've been playing with my new DSi for a while now, and also adding games to my growing GameSpot-collection. What bothers me though is the fact that the so many games have different titles in different regions.
This is something I've never fully understood... why go through the trouble of changing perfectly good names to something a little bit different? Rhythm Heaven is Rhytm Paradise in Europe. But why? Why do so many DSiWare titles have different names in North America and Europe? NA has Dr. Mario Express and EU has A Little bit of... Dr.Mario. At least Dr.Mario Express sounds good, but the european name is just horrible. And the list just keeps going: Paper Plane is called Paper Airplane Chase in NA. In Europe and Australia we play Pyoro, but North Americans play Bird And Beans. The latest example is Art St_le: PiCOPiCT. Great puzzle game (for the price) with stylus control, but when I looked for it from the GameSpot's database, I didn't find anything. That's because some genious just had to change the title (in North America only) to Art St_le: PiCTOBiTS. Aaarrrggghhh! I'm going nuts!
PS. I had to change the word Sty_le to this, because of GP's restriction in using the word. Something to do with javascript.
