Smartphoneology

As a former smartphone user there's one thing I can't seem to understand out those devices ? Why in the heck do need to type in a password so often ! You got a lock-screen password, then a password for social apps, and email password. Smartphones are the most personal of all computers...there should be a password to turn it on and all apps should know it's you, at the most you should be able to set a clock that asks for your password at random intervals no matter what's being done on your device. I lost my iPod not long-ago but wasn't all that ticked off because more than 50% of the apps installed required a password, but it would have been nice if I could have gotten that "find my device" app working...But I did have a fail safe; but it takes "time" to impliment so I know some of my data was compromised; Yes, compromised, meaning I can care-less at this point at what was lost...it won't happen again, won't be so lazy as I once was-you know, that "I'll do it later" attitude.;)
